How to Begin Couponing
A lot of people think clipping coupons takes more time than its worth. And a Lot of people are Very wrong!
Couponing DOES take a LOT of work, but in the end it REALLY does pay off! Sometimes it even Pays OUT!
So Where Do You Begin?
That is a VERY GREAT question!
I have searched online ALL OVER the place, and the way everyone should be saying it is START SIMPLE!! And Breathe! Don't get overwhelmed with pressure!
1. Start with a Newspaper
You could go to the store and get one, but then you have to take them home and clip your deals anyway, You can't just be ready with them. That is where these guys come in. Order ONE newspaper for EACH member of your household for maximum savings for everyone.
Or call your local paper if you do not see yours listed on Discounted Newspaper
2. Download some Phone Apps
If you have IPhones and Galaxy S"whatever they are today's"
and some other phones as well, Check when downloading, it will tell you if it won't install on your phone. I promise!

Definitely Top Faves You can start saving on some like Checkout 51 and Savings Star Right Away!
3.Then Get Yourself a Coupon Binder and Baseball Card Inserts
Here is a GREAT deal on baseball inserts on Amazon Here:
Ultra Pro 25/9 Pocket Page Protectors
(Get as MANY as you can, at least as many that will fill the book)
and
Post-it Flags Value Pack, Assorted Colors, 1/2 in Wide, 8 Dispensers/Pack, 280 Flags Total plus 48 Arrow Flags (683-VAD1)
I would also get a different set of tabs colors and sizes for Specific Stores you use Frequently
Any Binder Will Do, But if you really want people to KNOW you mean business, or you want a more dedicated tribute to your goal, go for this one I designed. It is customizable on the site, you can Add your name there, OR you can Write it in markers when you get it. Decorate it however you would like, I even have STICKERS on my Zazzle Page, keep an eye out!
Fill your binder with your Inserts, and Mark each section according to color of Tab. Choose your own color combos, But I like things like Green for Veggies and Fruits, Red for Meats, Yellow for Grains, you can do Purple for Juices too,
and so on!
THEN start putting your coupons in. PUT the ones more likely to expire in the FRONT of each section (regardless of whether you have it alphabetically or not, you don't want to forget to use it. But IF you do forget and it expires, send them over seas to the troops, they work for another 6 months after they expire over there!)
When you get that far, Next is How to do the Coupon Match-Ups!!

- Checkout51- THIS is my FAVORITE app so far!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE It! I don't have to have a specific phone to upload the receipts, so that blew Ibotta out of the water already! They have SUPER friendly Customer Service and help you Quickly and Efficiently! (Thank you Checkout 51 Staff for being so awesome!) And though I cannot get anything from refering you, I definitely think you should try it!!
- IBotta-you can Save ALL KINDS of things, Eggs, Milk, Bread, Alcohol! But you need specific devices to work. I lost out on my $10 because I couldn't find a phone in time to upload on :-( BUT I can refer people! Cannot do that with Checkout 51 yet!
- SavingStar- which you can find on the right hand side click View All Coupons---------------------------------------------------->
- Shrink-All healthy different foods/brands than the other coupons like Simply Organic Spices among others! I haven't had much experience, but I am looking forward to this one!
- Flipp- An App that shows MOST of the store inserts without going to the websites, or store.(the only one I don't see on there is Safeway)
- Hip2Save-Pretty cute little app I found, a lot of good deals and Ideas!!
- Target Cartwheel! Though you have to be online/on your phone to use, DEFINITELY has some Big Savings available, sometimes 40%-50% off! (more if you keep an eye out!) You can also use Target coupons as well as Manufactured coupons! That's on top of the Cartwheel Savings! OH and if you have a Target Red Card? THAT'S ANOTHER 5% Savings!!! Savings Savings Everywhere!
- Shopmium- I don't have experience with this one yet, but I take it to be kind of like Saving Star, or Coupons.com
- Walmart Savings Catcher-No experience yet
